Dominik Mysterio is currently dealing with an injury, but the good news is he may not be sidelined for long.
The WWE star was originally scheduled to defend his Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles at the upcoming Night of Champions premium live event. However, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced on this week’s episode of RAW that Dominik would not be cleared to compete due to an injury.

Dominik Mysterio Injury Is Legitimate
According to PWInsider, Dominik Mysterio is suffering from a rib cage issue. While there was some online speculation about the injury possibly being storyline-related or linked to travel issues around the Saudi Arabia event, reports confirm that the injury is indeed legitimate.
Despite being pulled from Night of Champions, sources indicate that the injury isn’t expected to keep Dominik out for an extended period. No exact timeline has been given, but fans can expect to see him back sooner rather than later.
