WWE has officially announced a segment featuring John Cena and Cody Rhodes for this Friday’s episode of SmackDown (May 30, 2025).
This comes shortly after Cody Rhodes made a surprise return during Saturday Night’s Main Event, attacking Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena. The upcoming episode marks the first time both superstars will appear on the same SmackDown since before WrestleMania.
As the build-up continues toward Money in the Bank, Cena and Rhodes are already scheduled to be on opposite sides of a major tag team match. At the premium live event, Cody Rhodes will team up with World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso to face John Cena and Logan Paul.
