WWE Royal Rumble 2027 Date Confirmed: February 6 at State Farm Stadium in Arizona
WWE has made it official: Royal Rumble 2027 will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. WWE announced the date on November 2, and it will be the 40th Royal Rumble.
The show was first confirmed for Arizona back in the summer, as part of a multi-year partnership, but until now there was no exact date. Here is everything we know, including when tickets go on sale and what else is happening that weekend.
Royal Rumble 2027: date, venue and how to watch

As always, the show will be headlined by the 30-man and 30-woman Royal Rumble matches. Both winners earn a championship match at WrestleMania 43.
When do Royal Rumble 2027 tickets go on sale?
- Club WWE presale: Monday, November 16, at 12 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. MST
- General presale: Tuesday, November 17, at 12 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. MST
- General on-sale: Wednesday, November 18, at 12 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. MST, on SeatGeek
Fans can register at wwe.com/RoyalRumble27 for presale access. VIP packages are sold through On Location, TKO's official hospitality provider.
SmackDown and AAA the night before
Royal Rumble weekend starts on Friday, February 5, with a double header at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale: Friday Night SmackDown and AAA's Road to Rey de Reyes on the same night. WWE says more ticket details for that show are coming in the next few weeks.
It is another sign of how closely WWE and AAA are now working together. Putting an AAA show on Royal Rumble weekend gives it one of the biggest audiences of the year.
Why this matters
The Royal Rumble is the start of the road to WrestleMania, and the 2027 edition will be in a stadium, not an arena, which usually means a big crowd and a big-event feel. State Farm Stadium, home of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, is no stranger to WWE either: it hosted WrestleMania XXVI in 2010, when it was still called University of Phoenix Stadium.
The date also fills in the early-2027 calendar. WrestleMania 43 is still planned for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in April 2027, though WWE has not given an exact date. Read our WrestleMania 43 update for the latest on that.
