SPOILERS: WWE SmackDown Results for November 6, 2026 (Taped in Brooklyn)
Spoiler warning: this article reveals full results for the November 6 episode of SmackDown. If you want to watch the show fresh on Friday night, stop reading here.
WWE taped the episode on Monday, November 2, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, right after Raw. Fightful reported the spoilers. In the main event, Kevin Owens beat CM Punk in a No Holds Barred match.
Why SmackDown was taped
SmackDown normally airs live on Fridays. This week is different because Crown Jewel 2026 takes place on Saturday, November 7, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. PWInsider's Mike Johnson reported back in September that WWE would tape both shows in Brooklyn on November 2 because the company travels to Riyadh for Crown Jewel. Crown Jewel starts at noon ET / 9 a.m. PT on Saturday.
Full SmackDown spoilers for November 6
- Gunther opened with a promo. He said he was not scared on the Halloween edition of SmackDown and called Finn Balor's career nearly finished. He challenged Balor, who came out. The two brawled, and Balor ran Gunther off.
- Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Tama Tonga.
- B-Fab and Michin vs. Fatal Influence (Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley) ended in a no contest after Tatum Paxley, Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss got involved.
- Nick Aldis praised Chelsea Green. Green said she will prove she belongs by beating Liv Morgan. Morgan brushed her off as someone who only got lucky because of Rhea Ripley's injury.
- Trick Williams said his story is not over.
- Damian Priest defeated Nathan Frazer.
- Sami Zayn said he will not be overlooked again and brought up Roman Reigns and Monday's Raw. Jimmy Uso confronted him and said Zayn will take a beating at Crown Jewel.
- The 946 attacked Jimmy Uso while Zayn watched.
- No Holds Barred: Kevin Owens defeated CM Punk.
What it all sets up for Crown Jewel
Sami Zayn vs. Roman Reigns. Undisputed WWE Champion Zayn faces World Heavyweight Champion Reigns for the men's Crown Jewel Championship. Jimmy Uso standing up for his cousin makes the Bloodline side of this story clear. The 946 attack is the twist. The 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) have been at war with The Bloodline since Money in the Bank. Zayn watching and doing nothing raises a question for Saturday: will The 946 cause problems for Reigns in Riyadh? For the long history between these two, read our Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn history.
Chelsea Green vs. Liv Morgan. WWE Women's Champion Green and Women's World Champion Morgan meet for the women's Crown Jewel Championship. This segment was the final verbal shot before the match. Aldis backing Green gives her the official support. Morgan's line about Ripley's injury gives Green a clear reason to want to prove a point.
Gunther and Finn Balor. Balor vs. Gunther is not listed on WWE's Crown Jewel event page as of this writing. Still, a challenge and a brawl just days before the show is how WWE usually builds a match. If it is added, Balor has the momentum after running Gunther off. If it is not, expect this to carry on toward Survivor Series on November 28.
Owens vs. Punk. This match was not part of the Crown Jewel build. It closed a rivalry that included Owens' failed title challenge against Punk on the August 21 SmackDown. With Punk losing again, it is fair to ask where he goes next. Survivor Series in Houston is the next big stop.
Our view
In our view, this is a solid go-home show. It puts most of its time into the two Crown Jewel Championship matches, and the 946 angle adds a real wild card to Reigns vs. Zayn. The Owens win is the surprise, and Punk is not among the stars WWE is promoting for Crown Jewel. How WWE follows up on this loss will tell us a lot about his plans for Survivor Series.
