Paul Heyman could be back on WWE television soon. According to WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, WWE has a working creative idea for his return, and it could happen "relatively soon."

The plan would put Heyman into a new program while keeping him connected to The Vision, and in particular to Bron Breakker. Here is what the report says, where Heyman has been and what his return could look like.

What the report says

  • WWE has a working creative idea for Heyman's return to TV.
  • The return could come relatively soon, though no date was given.
  • He would move into another program, but keep a link to The Vision, specifically Bron Breakker.

WWE has not announced anything, and "working idea" means plans can still change.

Where has Paul Heyman been?

It has been a strange few months for Heyman. On the July 13 episode of Raw, he walked away from The Vision, the group he built, after praising only Maxxine Dupri and asking, "What the hell do you need me for?" A few weeks later, he was in Brock Lesnar's corner at SummerSlam for Lesnar's Hell in a Cell match with Oba Femi. Lesnar lost, and he announced his retirement on The Pat McAfee Show on August 4.

Heyman's most recent big moment came on Raw on October 12. He interrupted Oba Femi to praise him as "a vision of the future of WWE," but Femi threw his microphone to the floor, said he was not a "Paul Heyman Guy" like Lesnar or Roman Reigns but an "Oba Femi Guy," and walked off, leaving Heyman alone in the ring.

Why Bron Breakker?

Breakker is the obvious fit. He has been one of Heyman's guys since The Vision was formed in 2025, and he is now one half of the World Tag Team Champions with Austin Theory. The pair defend those titles against Penta and Je'Von Evans at Crown Jewel on November 7.

Keeping Heyman tied to Breakker while giving him a new program makes sense from a booking point of view. Heyman has always worked best as the voice of a big, young star, and Breakker is widely seen as a future world champion.

When could he return?

There is no date. The next big shows are Crown Jewel on November 7 and Survivor Series: WarGames in Houston on November 28, and with John Cena on Raw on November 2 in Brooklyn, WWE has a lot of big nights coming up where a Heyman return would get noticed.
