WWE Raw Preview (October 19, 2026): Roman Reigns Live in San Diego, Joe Hendry Returns

WWE heads to Pechanga Arena in San Diego for Raw on Monday, October 19, and the World Heavyweight Champion is back. Roman Reigns is set to appear less than three weeks before his champion vs. champion match with Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel. With Zayn also advertised for the San Diego show, the two could come face to face for the first time since the match was made official.

Here is everything announced so far, plus the storylines to watch.

When and where to watch

Raw airs live from Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California, on Monday, October 19. The show starts at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT, which is 1 a.m. BST on Tuesday, October 20, for fans in the UK. It streams live on Netflix in the US and in most international markets.

Roman Reigns is live in San Diego

Reigns is advertised for Raw after missing last week's show. He was in Los Angeles for the world premiere of the Street Fighter movie, and a lot happened to his family while he was gone.

He comes into the show as World Heavyweight Champion after retaining against LA Knight at Money in the Bank on October 10. His reign has now passed 180 days, and it is the third longest since the championship was introduced in 2023.

All eyes will be on what he says about Crown Jewel. Reigns faces Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn on November 7 in Riyadh, with the winner taking the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Could Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn come face to face?

Zayn is advertised for the San Diego event, where he is set to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes. That match has not been added to the Raw broadcast card, and it is expected to be a dark match for the fans in the arena rather than part of the Netflix show.

Still, it means both Crown Jewel opponents will be in the same building on Monday night. With less than three weeks until Riyadh, a face-off between Reigns and Zayn on the live broadcast would make a lot of sense.

Penta vs Bron Breakker

Mr. Money in the Bank Penta goes one-on-one with Bron Breakker, and these two have plenty of history.

Breakker was one of the five men Penta beat to win the Money in the Bank ladder match on October 10. Penta also teamed with Je’Von Evans to beat Breakker and Austin Theory on Raw on October 5. Breakker, one half of the World Tag Team Champions with Theory, will want payback for both.

Breakker has the edge in their singles history, though. He beat Penta on Raw in June 2025, and he retained the Intercontinental Championship against him by disqualification in March 2025. Penta has never beaten Breakker one-on-one on television.

With the briefcase in his hands, Penta cannot afford to look weak. And with Roman Reigns in the building, every Penta appearance comes with the chance of a cash-in.

Joe Hendry vs. JD McDonagh

Joe Hendry returns to the ring against JD McDonagh. Hendry has spent the past few weeks mocking McDonagh, and McDonagh gets the chance to shut him up in front of a live crowd.

Also advertised

WWE’s event page also lists Oba Femi, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Sol Ruca, None of them have announced matches yet.

Storylines to watch

Carmelo Hayes and The 946. Last week's Raw main event saw Solo Sikoa and The Usos face The 946's Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price. Just as Sikoa went for a Samoan Spike on Keys, Carmelo Hayes appeared and attacked him. The match ended in a No Contest, and Hayes sided with The 946 as they took apart The Bloodline. Reigns was not there to see it. Monday is his first chance to respond.

Milestone to watch

Liv Morgan is not booked for a match yet, but October 19 is a big day for her in the record books. She passes Charlotte Flair that day for the second most combined days with the title. Only Bayley will have held it for longer. Morgan faces WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green at Crown Jewel for the Women's Crown Jewel Championship.

Our predictions

• Reigns and Zayn come face to face. Both men are in the building, and Crown Jewel needs a big moment on TV. Expect a confrontation before the night is over.
• Penta beats Bron Breakker. Mr. Money in the Bank needs momentum, and a win over Breakker would be his biggest singles victory since winning the briefcase. Expect The Vision to get involved either way.
• Joe Hendry beats JD McDonagh. Hendry is coming back, and the crowd will want the win.
