WWE Friday Night SmackDown returns to Dallas for the first time in 2026.
The show will take place at the American Airlines Center, with over 9,500 fans expected in attendance. Here’s what’s scheduled for tonight’s episode.
Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu vs. Sami Zayn – Elimination Chamber Qualifier
Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu vs. Sami Zayn is set in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the Men’s Elimination Chamber.
Fatu played a role in Rhodes losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre in the Three Stages of Hell match. Last week on SmackDown, both Rhodes and Fatu attacked McIntyre.
Zayn is also coming off a loss to McIntyre at Royal Rumble and is still chasing his first world title.
The winner of this match moves on to the Elimination Chamber with a chance to earn a title shot at WrestleMania.
Alexa Bliss vs. Giulia vs. Zelina – Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier
Alexa Bliss vs. Giulia vs. Zelina Vega will determine another spot inside the Women’s Elimination Chamber.
Giulia is the current Women’s United States Champion. Bliss and Zelina are both looking to get back into the title picture.
Whoever wins will move one step closer to a championship opportunity at WrestleMania.
Jade Cargill vs. Jordynne Grace – WWE Women’s Championship
Jade Cargill defends the WWE Women’s Championship against Jordynne Grace.
Grace has been pushing for this match for weeks. During a recent tag match, Cargill accidentally kicked Grace, which added more tension between them.
Now Grace gets her chance at the title. We’ll see if Cargill continues her run or if there’s a title change in Dallas.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Nia Jax and Lash Legend.
Ripley and IYO have been strong as a team, but Jax and Lash bring serious power. This could easily turn physical fast.
Rey Fenix vs. Trick Williams
Rey Fenix goes one-on-one with Trick Williams.
This is more of a straight wrestling match on paper, but both guys are looking to build momentum.
Final Thoughts
SmackDown in Dallas looks stacked.
Two Elimination Chamber qualifying matches, two championship matches, and several top stars advertised for the show. With WrestleMania season heating up, smackdown results could shape the next few weeks in a big way.
