WWE SmackDown Results (October 30, 2026): Sami Zayn Survives Trick Williams, The Demon Finn Bálor Returns
Sami Zayn is still Undisputed WWE Champion, and he goes to Crown Jewel against Roman Reigns exactly the way he got there: by any means necessary. Here is everything that happened on Danhausen's "Very Nice, Very Evil" SmackDown on October 30, 2026, from the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia.
SmackDown results (October 30, 2026)
- WWE Women's Championship: Chelsea Green (c) def. Nikki Bella
- AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Fenix (c) def. Ricky Saints
- Jade Cargill def. Tatum Paxley
- Undisputed WWE Championship, No Disqualification: Sami Zayn (c) def. Trick Williams
Cody Rhodes on Randy Orton
After Danhausen opened the show with a spooky pre-taped intro, Cody Rhodes talked about his Last Man Standing match with Randy Orton at Crown Jewel. He pointed out that it will be the first Last Man Standing match of his career, said the winner should be next in line for a world title shot, and left Orton a warning: "The Last Man Standing will be the only man punting. That's me."
Chelsea Green retains against Nikki Bella
Chelsea Green even showed up backstage dressed as Nikki Bella before the match. In the ring, Bella had her beat with the Rack Attack, but Green's foot was on the ropes and the referee would not count. Green took advantage and rolled Bella up for the win.
Then came the chaos. Liv Morgan walked out with the Women's World Championship to mock Green ahead of their Champion vs. Champion match at Crown Jewel. Tiffany Stratton ran down with her Money in the Bank briefcase, but Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez jumped her. Stratton fought them off with the briefcase and hit Morgan with a moonsault, but the cash-in never happened, and IYO SKY had to run out to even the odds.
What it means: that is the third time in eight days that Stratton has come close without cashing in. The briefcase is now hanging over the Crown Jewel women's match, and with The Judgment Day guarding Morgan, a cash-in in Riyadh feels more likely by the week.
Rey Fenix retains the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship
Rey Fenix beat Ricky Saints in their rematch. Fenix finished it with the Mexican Muscle Buster to keep his title.
Jade Cargill beats Tatum Paxley
Jade Cargill came out with the new Women's Tag Team Champions, Michin and B-Fab. A fight between them and Alexa Bliss at ringside distracted Tatum Paxley, and Cargill put her away with a big kick and Jaded.
The Demon Finn Bálor is back
Danhausen's big "very evil experiment" turned into the moment of the night. Gunther ambushed Danhausen, powerbombed him through a table and threw his mini-Hausens around the ring. Then the body on Danhausen's operating table sat up. It was Finn Bálor as The Demon. He drove Gunther through a table, hit him with a ladder and finished him with a Coup de Grace through the announce table.
What it means: Gunther vs. Bálor has been rumored for Crown Jewel after the pair were seen facing each other on promotional material in Riyadh. This looked a lot like the build for it.
Other backstage moments
- Damian Priest said he wants a WWE title shot. Fraxiom said they would ask Nick Aldis for a match with him, which Priest was happy to take, and then Axiom and Nathan Frazer argued over the plan.
- Blake Monroe took shots at Paige's past, and Paige told her to watch her mouth.
- A video package hyped Kevin Owens vs. CM Punk in a No Holds Barred match next Friday.
Main event: Sami Zayn survives Trick Williams
Trick Williams, in his first world title match, brought Lil Yachty with him, and Sami Zayn had Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae in his corner. Trick looked like he had it won after a Bookend, but Gargano pulled the referee out of the ring. Trick was given the win by disqualification, which meant Zayn kept the title.
Nick Aldis was not having it. He threw Gargano, LeRae and Yachty out from ringside and restarted the match as a No Disqualification match. Trick Sticks, trash cans and steel chairs all came into play, and Trick came close again. In the end, Zayn used the referee as a shield, hit a low blow and cracked Trick with the WWE Championship for the pin.
What it means and what's next
- Crown Jewel is set for Saturday, November 7: Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn, Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green, Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match, and the World Tag Team Championship match. A Gunther vs. Finn Bálor match now looks likely too. See the full card in our Crown Jewel 2026 preview.
- Zayn goes to Riyadh with a win he did not earn cleanly, which is exactly the kind of champion Reigns will want to beat.
- Trick lost, but he showed he belongs at that level. With Lil Yachty saying he wants to go full-time with WWE, Trick's corner is only getting louder. Read more: Lil Yachty wants to go full-time with WWE.
- Next week's SmackDown is taped in Brooklyn after Raw on November 2, with Kevin Owens vs. CM Punk in a No Holds Barred match.
