Big E Marries Kris Yim, Sister of WWE Star Michin

Congratulations are in order for Big E. The former WWE Champion has married Kris Yim, the sister of SmackDown's Michin, this week.

The wedding brought together some familiar faces from WWE, and judging by the photos and videos shared online, it was a happy day for everyone involved.

Who was at the wedding

Several of Big E's friends from WWE were there to celebrate with him. The guests reportedly included Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, who turned up in matching green outfits, along with Big E's New Day brothers Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

It is fitting that The New Day were there. Big E, Kofi and Woods spent years together as one of the most successful and most loved groups in WWE history, and their friendship has always gone well beyond the ring.

Big E and Kris went public with their relationship in 2024 and announced their engagement in May 2025. When he shared the news on Instagram, Big E wrote, "I can't wait to be your husband."

Kris's sister, Mia Yim, is better known to WWE fans as Michin, so Big E is now officially part of the family of a current SmackDown star.

Where Big E is now

Big E has not wrestled since he suffered a broken neck during a match on SmackDown in March 2022. He has been open about the fact that he may never return to the ring, but he has stayed close to WWE as an analyst and host on its shows.

Before the injury, he was in the best run of his singles career. He won Money in the Bank in 2021 and cashed in on Bobby Lashley on Raw that September to become WWE Champion, one of the most popular title wins of that year.
