WWE SmackDown Results (November 6, 2026): Kevin Owens Beats CM Punk, Charlotte Flair Returns

Kevin Owens got the last word on CM Punk. Here is everything that happened on the November 6, 2026, episode of SmackDown, taped on November 2 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the final stop before Crown Jewel in Riyadh.
SmackDown results (November 6, 2026)
- Shinsuke Nakamura def. Tama Tonga
- WWE Women's Tag Team Championship: Michin & B-Fab (c) vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) ended in a no contest
- Damian Priest def. Nathan Frazer by referee stoppage
- No Holds Barred: Kevin Owens def. CM Punk
Gunther and Finn Bálor brawl
Gunther opened the show and said he was not scared of anything he saw on the Halloween SmackDown, calling Finn Bálor's career all but over. Bálor answered the challenge in person, and the two tore into each other until Bálor sent Gunther out of the ring.

What it means: two weeks in a row, Bálor has come out on top. Their match is still not on the official Crown Jewel card, so if it does not happen in Riyadh, this feud is heading to Survivor Series. Read the full background in Gunther vs. Finn Bálor: their history.
Shinsuke Nakamura beats Tama Tonga
Tonga, one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, wanted payback after Kyoki stole the sacred Tongan Staff. Kyoki went for it again during the match, and while Tonga was distracted, Shinsuke Nakamura hit the Kinshasa for the win. A clean singles win over a tag champion puts Nakamura's group in line for a title shot.
Charlotte Flair returns
The Women's Tag Team Championship match between Michin and B-Fab and Fatal Influence never got going. Alexa Bliss, Tatum Paxley and Bayley came out, and then Charlotte Flair made her return and went straight for Jade Cargill. The match was thrown out, and the two sides were left facing each other.
What it means: this is the clearest sign yet of a women's WarGames match at Survivor Series, with Flair's group on one side and Cargill's on the other. See our Survivor Series: WarGames 2026 guide for where this is heading.
Liv Morgan and Chelsea Green face off
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis praised Chelsea Green, and Green said she would prove she belongs by beating Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel. Morgan was not impressed. She called Green a "charity case" who only became champion because of Rhea Ripley's injury.
Damian Priest destroys Nathan Frazer
Damian Priest told WWE last week he wants a title shot, and he made his point here. He took Frazer apart and finished with a Razor's Edge on the announce table, and the referee stopped the match. When Axiom came to help his partner, Priest threw him into the ring post.
Trick Williams: his story is not over
After losing to Sami Zayn last week, Trick Williams said this is not the end of his story. He is still the United States Champion, and he made it clear he wants another world title shot.
Jimmy Uso stands up for Roman Reigns, and The 946 strike
Sami Zayn said he will not be overlooked again and brought up what happened to Roman Reigns on Monday's Raw. Jimmy Uso came out to tear into Zayn on Reigns' behalf and promised Zayn a beating at Crown Jewel.
Then The 946, now with Cruz Montana, attacked Jimmy and left him laid out while Zayn watched and did nothing. It was a message for Reigns two days before he faces Zayn for the men's Crown Jewel Championship, and another step toward The Bloodline vs. The 946 at Survivor Series. Our Bloodline vs. 946 WarGames story has the full build.
Main event: Kevin Owens beats CM Punk
This was as wild as a No Holds Barred match gets. Kevin Owens and CM Punk fought through the Barclays Center crowd, using weapons and production equipment, before coming back to ringside. Punk drove an elbow drop through the announce table, and it still was not enough.

Owens set up a row of steel chairs in the ring, but Punk turned it around and sent him crashing onto them from the top rope. Owens answered with a Fisherman Buster off the apron that sent both men through a pair of tables at ringside. Punk hit the GTS, but Owens survived it, wrapped a steel chain around his hand and knocked Punk out to win.
What it means: Owens closes the rivalry with the win, and it is Punk's second loss in a row heading into the Crown Jewel weekend, which he is not part of. Where Punk goes next is the biggest question coming out of the show, and Survivor Series in Houston on November 28 is the obvious stop.

Our view
A strong go-home show with a great main event. Owens and Punk had a brutal, well-paced No Holds Barred match, and the chain finish fits Owens. The rest of the show did exactly what it needed to: Charlotte's return and The 946 attack both point clearly toward Survivor Series, while Morgan and Green got one last sharp exchange before Riyadh. The only miss is that Gunther vs. Bálor still is not official after two weeks of build.
